Don’t die on me now, Steve

This Spanish scifi drama looks pretty amazing. From the official website:

Alex, a renowed cybernetic engineer, returns to Santa Irene to carry out a very specific mission for the Robotic Faculty: the creation of a child robot.

During his ten-year absence, life has moved on for his brother David and for Lana, who got her life back together after his departure.

Alex’s routine is altered in an unexpected way by Eva, Lana and David’s amazing daughter. She is very special, charismatic little girl. She and Alex have a special connection from the moment they meet.

They set out on a journey together, which will bring them to a revelatory end.

Fresh looking animation by Dvein:

A project that began as a job turned nearly into a personal project due to the creative freedom and the confidence that the director gave us. We were very inspired by the whole aesthetical universe of the film: the snow, the vintage laboratories, the old machinery… and we tried to put all this together in the titles so that they would slowly introduce the viewers to the world of ‘Eva’.

Opens October 28. Can’t wait.
